The bug hunt on Wednesday went very well. We knocked off lots of bugs and had a good time. The best part is that some new contributors came in and really kicked ass. We’re so fired up from the hunt that we’re going to do it again this Saturday. Since I have an infant and thus no life, I’ll be hanging out on the #wordpress-bugs channel Friday night (PST) to help get things rolling. If you’re not getting silly at SxSW or otherwise hitting the town that night, join in the hunt. We again will be hunting for 24 hours so drop by whenever you get some spare time. Hopefully a weekend bug hunt will work out better for those who can’t make it on weekdays.

We’re gearing up for another Bug Hunt this Wednesday at 0100 UTC.  For those of you in the western hemisphere, that is Tuesday (tomorrow) night.  The hunt lasts for 24 hours.  Users, developers, testers, and lurkers are welcome to join in the fun on the #wordpress-bugs channel.  We’re going to find, fix, and close as many bugs as we can.  There will be punch and pie.
