Our bug hunt was a great success. Almost 100 bugs were dispatched. I’m still going through all of the patches and committing them. Several items on my personal todo were taken care of by others. I’m all for that. Go through the list and see if your favorite bug was squashed.

[...] As you may have seen on various other sites, including Skippy’s and Ryan’s summaries, the WordPress Bug Hunt this weekend was a great success. I’m happy to say that I got a chance to sit down and spend a few hours squashing some of the old defunct bugs, as well as fixing up a few new ones and submitting patches. Some of the most notable things I had patches for were a fix for the Incorrect Tab Order on the Write Screen (with a little help from skeltoac), Profile Page and Personal Options consolidation, which I’m jealous I didn’t think of in the first place but I’m glad to have this patch, even if it doesn’t get committed, and a long requested patch for dynamically loading the mysql extension. One of the things that I unfortunately didn’t get to finish before bug weekend was a patch for nicer error handling, but I will hopefully be able to finish that up sometime later this weekend. [...]
