Don’t let me whine.. But it crashes Safari. I’m not sure what the deal is, but now when I go to post something, it just crashes out.

Okay, so I’m new at this whole “running the latest and greatest” from svn…is there some upgrade I have to run to bring the database up-to-date?? I’m getting a DB error in the image uploader area…

Running wp-admin/upgrade.php after updating is always good practice.

Okay, so I’ve uploaded an image here on wordpress.com, and I see it in the nifty little image browser…

Is drag-and-drop the correct way to place these images into a post? No true thumbnails that I can see, though… Thumb creation would definitely be a plus here.

    Definitely a good start, though!

This should be fun! I know my girl will love it. ssh uploading and linking is somewhat beyond her. I just log in and fix it, then she thinks she figured it out. She is so smart!

  10. Chris says:

Excellent! Where do I get it?

  11. ryan says:

You wait for 1.6 to come out or get a wp.com blog. If you are feeling experimental, get the latest bits from the subversion repository and setup a test blog.

  14. [...] Need to upload images to your post? What should we do? Upload it manually through some pages and then write the url into your post. That’s old. Now you should notice that the upload button is gone from WordPress.com. Instead, now you can upload it from your write post page. See that small field below the write field? Just upload some photo and there you got a handful of photos to pick. Great! But I guess if you write a post through the bookmarklet as I do now I won’t get the photo upload section Link: Andy, Ryan.
