Updated Link List Sidebar

I updated the link list over yonder —>.

I did some purging and reordering. I spend most of my time perusing weblogs, so I employed some common sense, once I caught up with it, and moved the Weblogs section to the top. Weblogs, Geek, and News comprise most of my surfing ritual. Now, they are all at the top. No more scrolling required. Most links aren’t in any particular order, although I did put my current five most favoritest weblogs at the top. All of these usually get a daily click or two. Metafilter is my favorite hangout. I get alot of my news from there, and I enjoy the comments from the community that gathers there. Caterina.net I visit because Caterina seems to be a cool person who does interesting things, reads interesting books, meets interesting people, visits interesting places, and is altogether interesting. USS Clueless is one of the most thoughtful and informative weblogs I’ve seen. I always learn something when I visit there. Steven Den Beste editorializes and informs. He doesn’t simply throw up and link and call it a day. He uses that link as a starting point for a small dissertation. He offers both opinions and wide ranging information. I happen to agree with most of his opinions, which makes his site all the better. :-) Robot Wisdom I like because of its links to art, literature, poetry, ancient history, economics, space, and international news related resources and stories. The links reflect the tastes and interests of a broadly educated mind possessed of a strong intellectual curiousity (or so I think). But don’t let that description cause any anti-elitist reflexes to make your knees twitch, the links are presented with little commentary and zero pretension. memepool is a wacky grab bag of all kinds of crazy shit. You need a broad sense of humor to appreciate this site. If you don’t like sex, religious satire, esoteric geek humor, or plain old crudeness, stay away. Of course, if you read this site then you should have no problem with memepool.

Well, that’s that. Nothing else is going on with the site. I plan to make the search page look other than crappy, someday. And I might do some of the layout with CSS now that Mozilla is useable and Netscape 6.1 is out. Putting up a decent site dedicated to my aquariums is something I would like to do. At the moment, however, laziness reigns.
